Lovely environment, good location.
We will definitely stay here again. We had a second story room in the guest house. Even though the house is on S. Alamo, we did not hear any outside traffic. The location is just south of downtown, directly on a trolley route, and away from all the hustle and bustle.
Our room was very pleasant, with high ceilings and a large sitting area. The bed was very comfortable, neither too hard or too soft. As an observation, the bathroom only had a jacuzzi tub and did not have a shower. This did not bother us, but some people may wish to reserve those rooms that have showers. Also, for those who wish to have many television channels, the cable selections were just basic channels. Again, this did not bother us; we weren't in San Antonio to watch television, but people should be aware.
Breakfast each morning was quite enjoyable, with three courses served by the hosts. The food was good with portions that were just the right size. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, yet not too obtrusive. We have stayed in several B&B's and this was definitely one of our better experiences.
