The place is just gorgeous, there's no other words...
The hostel is different from room to room, and the boss is very nice. You'll only find nice people!
I had planned to stay at Gram's hostel for a week in June while looking for a place to live before moving into the Tampa area later this summer. I emailed the Innkeeper to see if laundry facilities were on site or off site and he sent me an incredibly rude email insulting me for asking the question! I would never recommend staying somewhere like this where the Innkeeper is so inconsiderate. I'm sorry for the rest of the staff who works here and will not be staying or recommending this hostel.
Not for everyone, If you want a Martha Stewart type of BnB then find a different spot. Gram's place has unique charm, in a neighborhood of single family homes. The rooms are small and quaint, and it does have a different flare.
The place was dirty, run-down, garden full of mosquitoes and other insects.
It looks like a shed rather than hostel.
I liked the music intil it turned out to be playing all night long!!!
The inkeeper was moody and rather rude to me.
The staff is great and Gram's Place has a charm that most places have lost in this part of Florida. The music is great and so it the vibe. We had rain for 2 days that I was there but the hosts were just great. I would recommend it to anyone that wants to get away from it all. It's a great alternative ..
