Don't miss this B & B

Dickens House is wonderful. The house welcomes you when you arrive. The living room and front porch offer comfortable chairs, tables and lots of books and magazines. The Perry Snell Room was small, but it "lived big" with lots of storage space, a wonderful old vanity with lighted magnifying mirror and two side lamps, a large closet and a refrigerator stocked with juice. The bed was heavenly! The three windows had curtains, shades and Roman blinds so you could adjust them to suit yourself. Everything everywhere was spotless.
The host was as special as the inn. He cooked dishes we could eat and enjoy; we're lactose-intolerant and often find that B&B owners can't manage breakfast for us. He was helpful with directions. His friendship made the visit special.
The house is located two blocks from the Vinoy Hotel in easy walking distance of everything. The historic district is quiet and gracious with charming houses and big trees. You could not want a better location and you certainly couldn't find a better place to stay.
