Blue Water Beach Club, Holmes Beach

This place was great for the location (steps to the beach) and the price!!!! The rooms were clean and the staff was very nice. We would definately come back and stay here again!!

The Blue Water Beach Club is the best... The rooms are clean, the location is great and the people are very nice. Very comfortable and well landscaped. Nice pool area. I love the fact that we can walk right next door to a wonderful restaruant overlooking the gulf. I have been back for 6 years and attend to keep coming.

With a variety of rooms available - from traditional motel rooms to apartments - this is a great place to stay. It was extremely quiet. Our room, while not boasting brand-new items, was very clean every day. The walk to the beach was easy, as the property sits right on the beach (public, but not crowded). We cannot wait to go back.

I am a senior citizen. When I was a child, my parents owned a small beach house on Anna Maria. They sold the house in the late 50ties, and started going to the Blue Water every summer. They knew the owner and his wife well, and it was a wonderful, friendly and comfortable place. When I married and had children, we started going to the Blue Water every summer, and later, I took my grandchildren there. My sister lives in Minn, and we try to meet at the Blue Water every year, we don't always make it, but it is our dream to do so! My husband and I still go as often as we can. It has had several owners down though the years, but all have maintained that same comfortable, friendly and wonderful "Blue Water" feeling! I have stayed at other places on Anna Maria but I keep returning to the Blue Water. It recharges me to spend time there! I love it. We can't wait to get back there later this month!
