Sailfish Gulf Suites, Holmes Beach

It was awful....the sliding glass door would not slide, the track was so full of dirt...the sliding screen is so old it falls of the track. The key to unlock the door would not work as the lock was corroded...after the mgr sprayed lubricant in it, then it worked for a while....but the sliding glass door did not and did not lock either. I sat down in a swivel rocker and it flipped over bacwards! it was broken, the bed was awful..I suggested a board in it and mgr said oh there is a board in the one in another unit I will get that one for you...the couch was sagging and very uncomfortable....she then discoverd the bed was broken!!!! so she ordered a new one but it would take several days to get it...meanwhile she gave me an airmattress to sleep on the floor! it leaked!!! We stayed 10 days...3 days later I did return to talk to the mgr...she was not there...the NO VACANCY SIGN was still up and 2 units were empty. The owner really needs to look into this...its a shame to allow these things to go on.

I have vacationed at the Sailfish Suites 3 years in a row and this will be be my 4TH. GG, the manager, is VERY friendly and accommodating to your every need. Great location for walking to an early morning breakfast at the public beach. It is a quaint and cozy place and VERY relaxing. I would highly recommend GG and her Sailfish Suites for a great get-a-way!

My family has been comming to the Sailfish since I was a child - now I bring my children.to this incrediable place. Walk out the door and you are at the beach - there is a small private beach and only a few steps from Cafe On The Beach where you can have your meals on a patio overlooking the Gulf. The place is so charming and relaxing that I always dread leaving. Jeanne the manager loves the property as much as I do and it shows in the loving care she always gives the place and the lucky guest that stay there.
