Ask Me Inn Ft Lauderdale Beach, Fort Lauderdale

We stayed here in 2007 and again in May 2010 and are going there in Dec again. This is just the best place to stay, close to everything, clean, and Scarlett is just the best. When we were there in May it was for sale so I hope whoever buys it keeps it just like it is!!

Cute clean and cozy for spontaeous little get away. Totally recommend it. Location is very convenient to everything you need. Scarlett was very accomodating and a breath of fresh air.

This little getaway from it all place is the most perfect place in Ft.Lauderdale.I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a sweet quaint place to stay ,A home away from home. My husband and I went there for a nite to get away from it all for our anniversary and could not have been more pleasantly surprised. close to the beach and the stores and entertainment of the area. all that you could want or need Scarlet and co. provides for you and they are very nice caring people.puts all other hotels to shame,we deffinatley will be going back to stay .

Most of the reviews tell you just what Ask Me Inn is about. I just want to point out a few things that me and the missus enjoyed. The rooms are homey with rugs, tables with covers!, pictures, magazines. Cozy! I looked at other rentals while in Lauderdale and they were all just institutional. If you're going to the beach Scarlett has beach chairs and towels. We were going out one day in the rain and Scarlett came running over with umbrellas! (I had to tell her she wasn't my mother and we'd be OK without bumbershoots.) All in all we felt more "at home" at Ask Me Inn than we expected. Scarlett will make your stay something special.

This Inn was not only affordable but so cozy and homey. Great access to the beach, the water taxi and all of the night life! Everything was so close. Scarlett was super friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back and stay again!

Thanks, Scarlett! This is an ideal short-term residence for anyone visiting our fair city or transitioning from one home to another. I continue to enjoy my stay at the Ask Me Inn. What a delightfully campy name ... and I enjoy the fact it's like staying in an apartment with personal maid service! Being just a block from the shore is perfect, because now I can't get up in the morning or go to bed at night without seeing the shore. Only a few blocks from swanky Las Olas, and even closer to the Galleria Mall.

We just arrived back in Atlanta/home from a lovely one week stay in this hotel on Fort Lauderdale beach. My elderly mother and I loved how close it is to the beach, just steps away. We had the nicest room with comfy double beds, sweet kitchen with all the fixin's...and a nice large bath...I work for NBC6 and was there on business. My Mom love's to come to Florida with me when I come, just so she can stay at Ask Me Inn...she say's it's like home away from home, just more fun...LOL..We love sitting out in the patio area talking and having wine with other guest, but the best part is when the owner, Scarlett, comes over to chat with us...She's a true Southern Bell. I'm looking forward to going back there next year...I know Mom is too...Mon and Daughter from Midtown... PS.. I found this hotel very clean, quint, and peaceful. I don't understand why anyone would write a negative review...It's Just too sweet a place...

The accomodations were great. Fantastic location to everything such as beaches, shopping, restaurants and water taxi. Very clean, nice rooms, thanks Scarlett!

This is just like staying in someone's home, one block from the beach! It's incredibly quaint and homey, and Scarlett is wonderfully welcoming. It's relaxing and low-key, with beautiful seascape type murals painted on the outside walls. The rooms are meticulously clean but also very cozy--not sterile and impersonal like a hotel. It's a little oasis among several very tall hotels. Has wireless too! I only stayed for two nights but wanted to stay for a week! Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Ft. Lauderdale. Amazing value.

My husband and I came to Ft. Lauderdale for a 4 week vacation and we literary did not want to go back home - we loved Ask Me Inn so much! And we are actually coming back in August, but this time for the whole 6 months! :) Scarlett, the owner of the Hotel, the sweetest person ever, gave us this beautiful pink room which felt just like home! The Hotel is so close to the beach, to the great shopping mall Galleria and to many great restaurants, that one could not find a better place to stay. When you check into Ask Me Inn and see on a mirror in your room: Come as Guests, Leave as Friends, be sure that's absolutely true! This is by far the BEST place to stay in Ft. Lauderdale!
