I am writing this review as I relax under the cabana in the beautiful tropical gardens. I count 30 palm trees on this property. The fans blow a gentle breeze past me as I ponder whether there will be room for me the next time I want to visit. I almost don't want to share this secret. I had a tour of the rooms in this quaint little complex. I realized that I was not the only one with a beautiful tropical room to live in. There is every type of accommodation here from standard hotel rooms to one bedroom with full kitchen. All of the furnishings are in white bamboo and all new. The entire resort has been remodelled and is immaculate. Flat screen TVs are in all rooms. The resort is located within 2 minutes walk from the beach and is protected from the Atlantic winds. As I sit in the garden writing I can see a variety of yaughts cruising down the intercoastal waterway with beautiful sunsets in the background. Happy patrons greet me as they pass by. They must be enjoying this as much as I am. There is a splash pad beside the resort and sheltered picnic areas for cooling in the shade. Yesterday a jazz band played big band tunes. It was a cool respit from the afternoon sun. A short walk up the broadwalk takes you to the bandstand for live evening entertainment and to a variety of small restaurants for your dining pleasure. Here you will find everything from pizza and icecream to seafood. If you like to fish try your luck on the surf in the morning and evening hours or cross the road and fish in the intercoastal. There is a fishing pier with a restaurant on it within 10 minutes driving time.
This location is suitable for all ages and terrific for families.
The best part of the Ocean Drive Villas is the friendly atmosphere that is provided by the owners. They make you feel like family. They bend over backwards to ensure you enjoy your stay. If you want to stay be sure to book early.
