Pines & Palms Resort, Islamorada

All of the staff was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable and affordable. The 2 bedroom cottage was amazing. Very luxurious! I highly recommend it and we can't wait to go back!

Quiet, quaint, and charming. Feels very old-time Florida. Bougainvillea flowers in vase, shampoo and lotion provided. Fabulous location (not just on water) close to diving and restaurants. Walking distance to Midway Cafe (breakfast). Smelled very clean when we arrived. Private dock and pool with a no-visitor policy so only guests can use. Can provide grills so you can cook your fish. Rent bikes and kayaks. Thick walls make it quiet even from cabin 7 (by the pool). AC works great! Negatives--Ants, got worse daily. Shower-cracked and chipped tile, missing grout, mold. They say ants are normal in the Keys. I say fix the tiles (and wet wood underneath) and solve the ant problem. Hard to find places for 3 people to hang used bath towels, pool towels, dive gear, and swimsuits.
