Bootleg booze kept this house lively back in booze-less Prohibition days, so the story goes. Lights were often on into the wee hours to welcome smugglers. Whatever the truth may be, this quaint inn is fairly quiet with furnishings made from pine salvaged in the late 1800s, Mexican tile in the bathrooms, oak floors, and claw-foot tubs in some units. Simple and priced to lure, this inn has studios, suites and two-bedroom units bright with colorful touches.
