Look to forward to coming back!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/06/08
We chose this particular B&B because we were visiting family in the area. We received warm greetings on our arrival. Our visit was pleasant and comfortable, with Phyllis and Don being exceptionally helpful and accommodating. Indeed, we felt like very welcomed guests in Phyllis and Don's home and definitely plan stay again when we return to Hawaii. Great breakfasts. Jan and Steve, California

A great place to stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/04/08
What we liked about the Aloha B & B is its location on a hillside in a secluded residential area, far from the hustle & bustle. Despite this, it is not far from what most travelers would want to see and do on Oahu. The rooms are comfortable, and two of them have a great views of the town and ocean below. We breakfasted every morning on the deck looking out on this view. Breakfast is more than ample, and always includes fresh fruit. There is also a lovely pool, which you can use whenever you want. The hosts, Don and Phyllis, are very friendly and try their best to cater to your every need. They suggested some great restaurants to eat at, sights to see and activities to do. Everything we did following their advice turned out to be top-notch. If you enjoy hiking they will tell you about the great trail that starts just up the street from them. During our stay I twisted my ankle while hiking Diamond Head, and they were very concerned, offering suggestions about how to treat it. They are there for you, but you are mostly left alone to enjoy your trip.

Horribly Rude!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/19/05
I read about the Aloha B&B in Frommer's and was looking for a place to stay near Hanauma Bay. When I called, Phyllis was extremely rude. I asked a few questions and she cut me off several times, never allowing me to finish my question. I have vacationed in Hawaii for the last 5 years. I have stayed in hotels and also rented homes, but I have never encountered such horrible service as I have today. Maybe you will have better luck!
