Rivera Lodge, Pinedale

Emi and Bird provide a fantastic place to rest up and prepare for a trip into the Winds and the best welcome back when you come out. If you open your back window at night the rushing waters of Pine Creek just outside will ease you right to sleep. In the morning a fantastic breakfast ( I recommend the individual poached egg and ham cups. ) will send you out fully charged. It's just a great place.

The breakfast was wonderful. Our host Emi is fantastic. It has charm. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were so soft. The details made it special like hand quilted fish bed covers over the soft down comforter. The Pine Creek ran right behind our cabin so the sound of the water at night was a delight. We fished the last day behind the cabin and had luck. it was a great homebase. We cooked on the stove top it had a medium sized fridge with a full sink and all the pots and plates. the water out fo the tap tasted so great. We ate in mostly but there were many food options close by. There was a TV which we did not use as we were up at the lakes enjoying the Winds. We also enjoyed the friendly dog named Bird.

My husband and I have been going to Pinedale and backpacking in the Wind River Range since 1985. We go almost every year. In the early '90's we discovered the Rivera Lodge and we have rarely stayed any place else. The lodge changed hands a few years back and is even better. Emi has made the place more homey and serves a killer breakfast to help get you up that trail. Lots of homemade breads, eggs, french toast, whatever you want. When we arrived in the afternoon this past Summer we got warm chocolate chip cookies. Doesn't get any better than that. Not only does Emi cook but she backpacks, hikes and is aware of trail conditions. You'll have a very pleasant stay beside the creek hanging out, getting ready for a trip or returning.

Nesteled along the creek in the heart of town this little hideaway is wondefull. With lots of old school, cowboy charm yet updated and very clean. A nice change from all the cookie cutter motels. Just a block or two to walk to all the dinning, drinking and shoping of Downtown.

Everything was wonderful ! The Location, right in town, but off the beaten path. The Accomodations, extra clean. The Gourmet Breakfast, each day different, but very tasty. The Friendliness of the Owner and Staff, the highlight of our stay, making new friends. Meeting Emi was such a treat, what a great host. The Scenery, the woods, beauty as only nature can give. The River, listening to the sound is so relaxing. The Whole Experience was just comfortable. Cannot wait to go back !

Comfortable rooms that were immaculate. The staff went beyond in their service and could not of been nicer. The brekfast prepared every morning was delicious and varied with plenty of options to choose from. I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in the surrounding area.

after being on the road for 14 days we were so delighted to find this place ,in fact we booked 2 extra nights the creek that flows behind the cabins is wonderful just open your windows and it will sing you to sleep at night all the local shops and resteraunts are within walking distance of the lodge. cleanliness ,hospitality and food are excellent all thanks to emi

Thanks to Emi for a wonderful breakfast, clean room and outstanding hospitality! This B&B sits right on pine creek. What a relaxing way to end or begin your day. Would recommend to everyone! Beats the chains by a mile! Experience your vacation all the way.

We have been coming to Pinedale for years as our daughter and her family live there. This was our first stay at Rivera Lodge and loved it. Emi was a wonderful host and excellent cook. We will definitely recommend Rivera Lodge as a place to stay.

Been going there for years... The motel sits right up against Pine Creek; I love leaving the window cracked at night and listen to the water flow by.
