A Friendly Place to Recharge
By Heather, 4/5/10
Unfortunately, I only stayed here one night - was visiting the nearby Farm Sanctuary for an article. After driving 5 hours through rain and snow from Fishkill, I was greeted warmly by Steve Ebert at 9:30 p.m.! It was like staying with a favorite uncle. They put me up in the barn 'suite' and I slept like a rock ... but not before eating some yummy homemade pastries from the fridge! Steve gently woke me up in the a.m. with a giant homemade breakfast of french toast, eggs, sausage, juice and fruit. I HATED leaving and swear to come back. What a blessed place.

Going back in 2010
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/28/09
We found it on the internet. Our stay was over the 4th of July weekend for the Indycar races. It was an absolute delight. We had the Willow Suite (Calf Barn). Accomodations were comfortable, roomy, quaint and clean. The private entrance and large balcony overlooking the lawn and forest were an added and appreciated bonus. Owners, Judi and Steve, are outstanding. They could not have been more cordial and helpful. We felt "at home" from arrival to departure. Breakfasts were hearty, innovative and unbeatable. Location is perfect. No traffic noise. The Glenora Winery and its adjacent restaurant are a few minutes up the road. Good wine and good dinner. Easy access to Watkins Glen Raceway over back roads avoiding all traffic delays. A short, easy ride to Watkins Glen. Rates are reasonable, and it is well worth every penny. We expect to return with our two adult sons and young grandson July 4th weekend, 2010. We recommend it to everyone. Charie and John Aponick Shavertown, PA

Already making plans to return!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/22/09
The South Glenora Tree Farm Bed and Breakfast experience may be unlike any other. The Hosts, Steve and Judi, were a pleasure in their roles as Inn Keepers. Both of them made sure our every comfort was seen to, and then asked what more they might do for us. As for the location of the Tree Farm, it was perfect for visiting Corning, Ithaca, Watkins Glenn, Or either of the lakes flanking Seneca. And of course, there's always the wine-tasting tours. A quick trip down a shady lane takes you back to Route 14 and some of the best wine around. We stayed during the peak fall season and were treated to a color palate unmatched in the Northeast. The food was fabulous - how wonderful to wake to the smell of coffeee, soon folloowed by any number of the tasty treats Steve has in store for guests. The best part of it is that Steve does the cooking! You may find a fancier B & B, but you'll never experience a more friendly and comforting stay than your visit to the South Glenora Tree Farm. We'll definitely return - Mike and Cindy T.

Took a gamble - and Won!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/3/09
Had no idea where to go or stay. Did some research on the web and stumbled upon South Glenora Tree Farm B&B. It was a crap shoot - and I rolled double sevens!! It was wonderful! My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer. Steve and Judy were gracious hosts. They knew instinctively when to add commentary or interject opinions or when to just leave me alone in my private suite. It wasn't too much - nor not enough, but a perfect blend of companionship, hospitality and good nature conversation. They were helpful in suggesting anything I asked for. The accommodations were spanking clean. The entire property is very well maintained with hiking trails, fire pit and so much more. breathtaking and beautiful! A great hidden gem! He offered additional discounts for my upgrading rooms. he was always fair, upfront and honest. I will certainly reeccommend this B&B to others whenever the chance occurs. I will return again, but this time with family and friends. A great escape as an individual or with the entire family - even as a romantic/private get-a-way for the week. All in all - a great value, superb environment and gracious hosts. Thanks so much! Dave Hastings, Cleveland, Ohio

Romantic, Peaceful, Perfect and Friendly!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/1/09
We stayed in the "sweet" and it was the most romantic and peaceful experience. Steve greated us by name at the door and treated us just like family!! All the guest were friendly and welcoming. The BB is the perfect place to get away and relax. The atompshere that Judi and Steve have created is a comfortable, peaceful and is a welcoming one! I would high recommend this to anyone. The whole BB was spotless and the breakfast was great! Steve and Judi treat you just like family and the land is beautiful. If you like classical music, bired chriping, and endless amounts of comfortable furniture. You never have to leave the BB because there is plenty of things to look at and do! It was our first time and we would go back every weekend if we had the time! Definitely will be back!! Highly recommend!

I, or we, shall return.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/29/09
5/29/2009. New Cumberland PA. News Flash. We just returned from our 8th annual visit with Steve and Judi at the South Glenora Tree Farm Bed and Breakfast. I guess that pretty much says it all, however I am going to say more. This is the ultimate getaway, yes my wife was with me. But we have seen people staying alone also. Steve and Judi are fantastic hosts. If you actually stay at the SGTF you will book your next vacation ahead of time. I have the advantage over most of the guests (herein to be called family) because I grew up in Dundee, just over the hill. After being away for 40 years not much is the same, wineries, B&B's, NASCAR, and so much more. Draw a circle 10 miles out and there is more to do in a long weekend than you can do. This year we achieved the ultimate stay with Steve & Judi, aside from the 10lbs. We sat on the porch for 2 days and watched the grass grow. You want peace and quiet this is for you. You want excitement you will love staying here and spending the nights get a big breakfast then go find your excitement it is there. We are booked for next year for 1 weekend and possibly 2 because of a class reunion. Steve if you are booked I will swing 2 hammocks in the pavillion. This is the highlight of our year. One of the neat things is the people you meet. Our 1st 3 visits we met the same family, they came in for a weekend of racing. This weekend was really strange, a young couple came in and she is a teacher as is my wife, he was an employee in a big box and became a merchandiser and went to another big box. I did the same thing same time only different merchandising companies. Those were my likes. Now let me tell you my dislike, Leaving and having to wait until next year to go back. SGTF B&B or bust. Steve and Judi we salute you with new notches in our belts and a great appreciation for another wonderful weekend, Sig & Nancy.

An Absolute Gem!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/29/09
We had the pleasure of staying @ Treefarm B&B recently and can honestly say that it's now our home away from home. What a beautiful place to escape from the day-to-day stresses. When you're so relaxed that you can doze off in a rocker on the wraparound porch...it can't get any better than that! Our hosts, Steve & Judi were genuinely warm & friendly yet perfectly professional from the reservation to our reluctant departure. They were very knowledgeable and helpful about the area attractions and dining. Room rates were very reasonable and frankly a 'steal' for the experience. Loved their website- beautiful and informative. Our room was tastefully decorated with country charm, very clean and so comfortable. They served a magnificent breakfast each morning at this grand table that tamed any appetite. We spent some time relaxing on the comfy sofas in the 'Great Room' after a nice walk through the woods and meadows on the property. We really enjoyed a delightful weekend @ Treefarm B&B and would highly recommend this retreat to anyone. We'll definitely be returning. K&J

Beautiful!!
By Amanda, 5/29/09
Steve and Judi are amazing people and great hosts. I went from Friday to Monday with my parents. Its so relaxing and the view is breath taking. Even for a young adult, its impossible to be bored there. We stayed in the suite which was so comfortable and the deck that was in fthe front room lets you look out at the property and if youre lucky you get to see the family of deer that pass through. Overall, our stay was memorable and we will definately be going back shortly.

Great Time -Off the Beaten Path
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/16/07
We met our friends @ the Tree Farm B&B in early November. What a neat place. Judy and Steve are the ultimate hosts and made us feel right at home. We had a huge sitting room to sit, talk and drink wine and eat snacks. The whole top level was ours to enjoy. What a feast for breakfast! The frig and microwave were ours to enjoy at our leisure. I really enjoyed the property "trail". The smell of fresh pines on this tree farm was so refreshing and we felt like we were really tucked away , off the beaten path- but not too far from the great wineries!
