Best Hotel for a long time
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/27/07
This place is an oasis of calm, design, amazing food and relaxation in this busy city. We spend 4 nights there and already booked the next vacation here. When we entered trough the drive-way into the lobby we thought it to be like a change of dimension. Loud and busy outside to peace and quiet inside. The staff members were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable in english and did everything possible to help us with whatever we needed. The food at the restaurant both breakfast and dinner was absolutely delicious and with the best indian and thai food i had for a long time. If you get to Chiang Mai this is the place to stay at. All major city spots are not more than a 10-15min walk away. The night market is only 500m away.

We can't wait to go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/29/06
My wife and I spent 3 nights at The Chedi and we wish that we had spent another 3 nights! The well-designed hotel is built on a very big plot of land along the Ping River. The cleanliness of the hotel room is one of the best we have experienced! The deluxe room that we have is very specious. We love the bathing area, with the tub just running besides the bed, and not to mention the big shower head which was mounted on the ceiling! The a-la-carte breakfast buffet is of the highest quality which we could never forget. Last but not least, the service was just excellent! There was always a smiling face and a pair of willing helping hands whenever we needed one. Pure magic!
