Constantia's Little Orchard Bed and Breakfast, Cape Town

Arived here with 3 other teachers from England, on a school trip. We were given a very warm welcocme with consideration given to our late arival into Cape Town, biscuits and fresh milk were offered with tea and coffe making facilities in the room. The rooms are spacious and clean with a large bathroom and shower. The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed a good nights sleep there. When waking up the next morning we were delighted with the beautiful leafy garden, the pergoda outside our rooms which had vines growing over it and the guinee fowl strolling around. Breakfast is served in the main house with an attractive courtyard and parking area separating the rooms from our hosts own house. Fantastic breakfast with fresh fruit, freshly baked muffins and a full cooked breakfast, not to mention cereal toast and marmelade. Near to the rooms is a kitchen area where a large fridge can be used and a washing service is in opperation. During the evening we sometimes chose not to go out but to sit outside our rooms on the table and chairs provided with fresh bread cheese and wine bought from the local shops which were well within walking distance from the accomodation. The location is very attractive an in a safe part of town. For us it was local to where we wanted to be and our host helped us with transport when he could for a small fee. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone, plenty of space for children and and warm welcome from a host who is very interesting to talk to about South Africa.
