Hotel Oktyabrskaya, St. Petersburg

This hotel is located in the middle of St. Petersburg acroass from the main train station. It is being modernized and many rooms are very nice while others are very small, including beds that are about 6 ft by 3 ft in size. Rooms are average in cleanliness depending on whether you get a newer room or not. There are quite a few restaurants close by, and the hotel restaurants are average. The have a breakfast buffet. TV in the rooms is almost all local with some rooms able to get BBC and CNN. Definitely less than a three star hotel by American standards. No internet connection is available.
