wonderful place to relax!!!
By ,
first off, the beach is awesome! a beautiful place to just unwind and relax. the people are friendly, the prices are good and the amenities and food are great. There were unpredictable cloudbursts everyday, but i was on vacation...i didn't care!!! and at night...oh...like the famous line uttered by astronaut David Bowman (2001: a space odyssey); "...it's full of stars", was most appropriate. with no light to really speak of, the star-filled sky was thought-provoking. enjoy!

A qualified wonderful experience!
By ,
I enjoyed the experience immensely. My wife and I went in late April and early May 2006 and stayed for a week. The service was excellent and I found the staff pleasant and generally very professional as well as friendly. Our room was always clean even though at times we requested that they they not knock on the door in the morning as this is when both of us did got in our beauty sleep---after a couple of days they figured it out. The food was well prepared and reasonably priced for most entrees and I liked their evening outdoor cookouts. The wine list was generally okay and I could not complain, although we did not expect much. Basically we wanted to just relax, read, sleep, swim in the late afternoon, get away from computers, have a nice late evening dinner, and just forget about the rest of the world. We loved walking on the beach. Finally, I would say this and I don't wish to be prudish. But, I really believe that the general group of hotels there in Boracay are overpriced. I honestly felt that it was the case with Sea Wind, also. Still, I think that when my wife and I got there, we were willing to accept this facet of our trip. Basically, we just wanted a nice holiday and we wanted to relax and be left alone. And, if paying, even on a package trip, the large amount that we did helped us to have a quiet holiday, then we accept that. We had a wonderful time! And, we would probably stay at Sea Wind again! If it is in your budget, it is worth staying there.

Beautiful Beach!!!
By ,
Best location as it is near Station 1 (where you have bars and such) but still far enough to be a quiet and relaxing place. The staff was friendly and watersports can easily be arranged at the front desk. Food are also reasonably priced and their dinner grill buffet worth the money.

Once Was Not Enough
By ,
I just returned from my 5th trip to Sea Wind Resort on Boracay island. There is no doubt Boracay is a magnificent place. There are plenty of nice places to stay, some are more expensive, some are less. But Sea Wind is just perfect for what I wanted. Located in station 1, the beaches are pristeen. The staff will accomodate just about anything you request at just about anytime. The property is not as new as others but is nice, clean , & comfortable. The 1st time I went, it was off season & I requested a private dinner on the beach for 4. They lined the path to the table with luminaries. Fresh flowers and cadles adorned the white linen covered table. The chairs were dresses in white & draped with sarongs I purchased as gifts. There was a staff of 4 (1 to 1 ration...pretty good!) who served us till the wee hours of the morning. The food was wonderful. All this at no additional cost other than the cost of food and drinks you would have normally paid for in their restaurant. My 2nd visit, they recognized me. by the 3rd & subsequent visits, they knew by name over the phone & in person. If you want a relaxing vacation away from the crowds, this is the place to stay. With a 20 minute stroll on the beach you will reach the strip with all the restaurants & clubs. A 5 minute trycycle ride will get you there as well.
