^_^
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/27/09
Where do I start???… “,) From the time we checked-in we are welcomed by professional front desk staff. The front desk manager was so helpful and very hospitable to their guests. The room was beautiful and even though it rained a lot while we were there we are able to enjoy ourselves. The breakfast was amazing, I really love the food, love the variety. Same for the dinner buffet, all the staff were attentive especially the male waiters. I promise to get back to that place!!!

we hated the panoly resort!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/21/08
We hated it there! I want to inform everyone who is interested in staying at The Panoly Resort Boracay : Do not! There are so many problems that you will encounter when going there : water and electricity shortage, they do not serve food and the majority of the people who run the place are terrible people. My friend once worked there and she was fooled into believing what the crazy, lying "owner"s told her. The president would get all the money from the company, go into shady business deals and would leave the employees penniless. She was not even paid on time. The people in the property would not have any money left ton buy their own food. That Capt. Chia (the president) is also a mean guy who is very much hated by his clients. Their suppliers would often sue The Panoly since they do not pay their suppliers. The company cheats the members by getting their money.

Loving the Privacy of Boracay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/16/08
It offers the best side of Boracay when it comes to privacy and exclusivity. I was able to enjoy the company of my family without the wild rush of all the tourists. There's also this maginificent view from the top where you van view the beachfront and the whole resort. It is truly a therapeutic place for stressed people who wants to escape the demands of the daily grind of work and business. Nightlife is toned down compared to the events at the main beach but the opportunities to meet new friends and acquaintances is not shortchanged .One can weave a different Boracay story here at the Panoly

My Family Enjoyed it....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/22/07
My family and siblings enjoyed our ride going to the resort because of the boat called bangka. Its their first time to experience this kind of ride. When we arrived at the resort we are immediately offered drinks by the staff, our main choice is to stay at the deluxe but when we saw the cottages we ask them to transfer us.... the silence and the exclusivity of the resort made us feel comfortable and safe. My children enjoyed their games at the beachfront with the staff who are very friendly. The only problem that we encountered was when we asked for a free shuttle going out to the public beach, they are asking for an extra charge of US$8.00 because according to them they have a scheduled free shuttle service and our request is out of the schedule....I hope that the management will have an open time free shuttle because this is a very important thing especially for a first timer ...

Bad experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/29/07
My wife and I stayed at The Panoly resort back in Dec 06 and found it to be very disappointing. The resort itself was so far away from the main beach and the only way you can get there is via a shuttle bus which the resort operates twice a day.(10am to the beach and 5pm back to the hotel) I had to pay $500 for a 15 minutes ride back to our hotel purely because the shuttle is no longer available(after10pm). They charge us for the buffet dinner that we didn't have, even though we specifically cancelled our reservations well ahead of time. Even up till now, we still haven't receive our money back. The room itself was ok, roomy and clean, but not all rooms has a safe box as they claimed it to be. This resort is considered to be 5 star in the hotel ratings but the only factor that reflects that rating was the price. You're better off to have a place by the main beach, where its all happening than to have the hassles staying at this resort during your holiday.

Poor information
By johnn, 3/12/06
I just got back from the Panoly March 2006 and was very disapointed in the management of the property. The one reason that I stayed at the Panoly was that it advertised and onsite Scuba dive shop I called and spoke with various staff to find out all information about this so that I would not have any problems when I got there. I was told that the dive shop was there and that they had all the equipment needed for diving, even the prices. When I arrived I asked where the shop was and they sent me out on the beach to it. When I got there there was not a shop at all. They didnt even know that the shop was not there any more. If I had known this I never would have stayed there. This hotel is a half hour ride to town were you have to go to get on a dive boat. When I talked to the manager about this he was not willing to even give me and upgrade on a room. Even though this was such poor information. It took them 3 days to decide that they could give me a free dinner for all the inconvienence. If you plan on just staying in one place this place is ok. The staff as far as the resturaunt and bar and front desk were wonderful.
