Stay someplace else.

I made a reservation here for my parents. The first two times I called, I tried to reserve a room and was told there were none available. I had a Korean friend call and make the reservation in Korean and it was no problem. Upon arrival my parents were hungry and wanted to eat in the first floor restaurant. It was closing, even though the sign said it was supposed to be open for another 30 minutes. We were advised to eat somewhere else, even though the hotel is located in a residential area and nothing is open at 10:30 at night. My parents ate here on another occasion, only to have to track down a manager so they could have their order taken. They were also charged 7,000 Won for a dixe-cup full of instant coffee. There was construction going on on the floor below theirs, and it took a fair amount of convincing to get the staff to move them to another floor. I was very disappointed by the Parktel, since Korean hotels normally have an excellent reputation for customer service. Most "love motels" offer more ammenities (free coffee, internet in your room, etc.) and a friendlier staff.
