Hotel Acanthus, Munich

Our family of 5 stayed 1 week at the Acanthus in November 2005. Roomy rooms, clean bathrooms with ameneties, great small bar to have a late night drink, fantastic breakfast buffet. Spotless hotel. Very accomodating owner and staff. We ended up in the middle of a snow storm, so the owner accomodated us for extra nights with the rooms we were in, called the B&B we were suppose to stay at in another town, negociated the penalty for canceling late and paid the B&B for us and charged it to our credit card. Is that service or what!! We loved staying here. So close a walk to the Marienplatz and all there is to see in Old Munich. Greg who works at the front desk is also a tour guide....FANTASTIC TOUR GUIDE. Can't wait to return for Octoberfest in 07. You can't go wrong here!
