Shaughnessy Village, Vancouver

This is a great bed and breakfest to stay at if your looking for a cheap B & B. Best part about Shaughnessy Village is that it's extremely close to the downtown core, it's only less then 5 min drive and about 5 minutes with the local transit. That's just the beginning, if you get a room on the north side of the building, your have breath taking view of Grouse Mountain, the downtown skyline, Stanley Park, Granville bridge, Expo, and the water view (not to mention seeing Vancouver island in the distance. On the south side, you would have the view of Vancouver island and Mt. Baker (in Washington US). Free breakfest every morning of staying and the food is pretty good. The rooms are like cabins on a cruise liner. It's little small but the rooms do include TV, Microwave, fidge, bathroom, and most important balcaony with table and chair to enjoy the view. Rates various on the month you visit. Cheapest time to go is December, and the high season is August. Even the high season is still way cheaper then hotel!!
