Scandinavia Hotel, Phnom Penh

I made a reservation by phone, was told that my room was confirmed etc. Arrived after a 4 hour drive to be told I didn't have a reservation. The very arrogant and unhelpful manger/owner (not sure which) didn't apologise or try and rectify or help the situation, in fact he stopped his staff from trying to call places for us as it cost too much money to ring, even though this was their error and not mine! I was told a booking is not made unless it went through him, this doesn't help anyone who calls and thinks that, like any normal hotel, you can speak to any member of staff to make a booking! All in all not a pleasant experience. I would encourage anyone who is going to book here to think again or to make sure they speak to the manager/owner so they really do have a booking.
