Pierre Motel, Barre

This older building was kept clean and was run by friendly people. Seemed to be cheapest rates in area.

Was nothing fancy but was clean and had a cool Irish bar and restaurant across the street. Just make sure to ask for rooms with internet because not all of their rooms have wi-fi.

Dirty, sheets were stained. Musty, heater put out a bad odor. Ice had black specks in it from the ice maker. Very dark, dingy..depressing.

Dark, dingy, scary. Bathroom fixtures seemed clean, but everything else, including baseboards, furniture, carpet were not. Internet service was poor; breakfast consisted of bad coffee; maid service was minimal; we got "clean" towels from a smoking room one day, even though we were in a no smoking room. Motel has not been updated for 50 years. Sheets were old, yellowed, and thin. Towels the same. Fridge worked very well. Only 3 tiny drawers, so we could not unpack. No nightstands, but there was a shelf on one side.Room had a broken recliner, a round table and 2 straight chairs.One nice feature was cross-ventilation. Windows front and back made for a nice breeze and fresh autumn air.We were there for a week, and glad to come home.

The owners were very helpful, interested in keeping my business. The service was great. The Motel is older, but clean. The location couldn't be more convienient. Bring your own pillows.

The bathtub and toilet were clean. The baseboards etc were dirty. The whole motel was rundown. The internet was poor. The front desk was not very helpful when asked for recommendations for places to eat. Location was good.

This was a old but well kept place.The room was clean .There was a small table with two chairs and a recliner.Also a small fridge.The location was perfect.Right downtown Barre.I slept well and was very happy .There is a fair size pool.I will stay there my next trip to Barre

My car broke down, they were very nice and the next day while waiing for a ride they let me hang out in their lobby all day, even let me choose the channel on the tv! A great family runs it. After living in NYC and working as a Maitr'D at an upscale restaurant, I give my stamp of approval for customer service.

they're right off the interstate so its an easy place to find...
