So-so....

Our first visit tonight (a 16th Anniversary) started out great with Donny as our waiter. However, things went downhill from there. Our main course came +-30 minutes post order ! (and this with only 3 other tables in play) Prime rib was very good. Halibut not as described on the menu and very unappealing. In the middle of dinner, 2 vans full of French speaking tourists showed up to look around. (why this would happen in the middle of an Oregon forest must be another story!) Anyway, that was the last of any semblance of service. We attempted to order dessert and Donny said he 'would be right back'. After watching Donny set tables, take other orders and do everything but take our dessert order, we finally asked for our check - from another waiter. No dessert...Donny commented that he was not able to help more with our anniversary dinner because of the French tourist's drink orders...oh well. Not likely we will return, even though we live in Medford. Good service, especially from the owner, should be a priority for any establishment. Donny gets a D grade. Food gets a B-. Dinner rolls get AAA+++
