Great family vacation!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/19/09
Maumee Bay Resort is a great place to go with a family. I have four kids (ages 6-12), and they loved staying here. The outdoor pool was the big attraction--very warm and clean! My six year olds loved the big 3ft. area, and my older ones jumped off the diving board all day. Also, the racquetball courts were fabulous. When we weren't swimming, we were playing racquetball or walking along the lake. The resort staff is very friendly and attentive. And housekeeping really does their jobs well--there was someone cleaning something all day! The beds were comfy and I also liked the activities that the staff arranged for the kids and families each day--Family movie each night in the lobby and crafts for young ones to do.

Way over priced
By Me, 06/26/09
My husband and I stayed at the resort. First of all, the fire alarm on our floor went off twice both day's we were there. Obviously it was a false alarm. You have to pay for WI-FI (When paying almost $200 a night for a room this should typically be included) People that aren't staying at the resort are able to come in and buy a "day pass" to use all facilities of this hotel. Some (not all) of the staff were VERY stuck up. The beds were highly uncomfortable. There were fish files COVERING the whole hotel! Our balcony was covered in them. The sinks didn't drain well at all. NO microwaves in the rooms. When paying that much for room at a resort these are things that shouldn't be an issue. This place is HIGHLY over priced! It's not a dump but definitely not worth $200 a night. I doubt we will be returning to this place and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

It's more than a few minutes drive outside Toledo - but the area is beautiful! Great indoor pool, hot tub, wonderful outdoor walks, and the food was excellent.

Awsome Maumee Bay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/11/06
I like Maumee Bay because there is a game room, 1 hug pool inside, 1 big pool outside, 2 hot tubs inside. They have very good survice.
