Will never go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/22/09
The place was nice, but the hosts were too rigid. Coffee served at 8:00 and not a minute before, same as breakfast. And DON'T let the screen door slam!

Favorite place to stay
By Denim, 12/02/08
We three best friends recently stayed at Bayberry Inn Bed and Breakfast, and had a great time! The location is great, only two blocks from the beach and easy to walk to all the shops/dining. Andy & Toby, the owners, are very friendly and hospitable. They grow orchids as a hobby, which enhances the already beautiful atmosphere. Our room was very nice and comfortable, and breakfast is not to be missed. Toby is an excellent cook and together they're a great team. We had lots of questions about growing orchids, which Andy was glad to answer. We're planning to return soon with our husbands. Cape May is beautiful in December, and the Bayberry Inn is now our favorite place to stay.

innkeepers with attitude
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/14/07
I liked the facilities. We stayed in a 3rd floor suite that had all the amenities, very nice jacuzzi, well appointed (bad paintings but this isn't the Ritz). However, the inn keepers were kind of unhospitable about coffee and food. The coffee is served at 8 am and if you want it earlier "you can go to the Wa-Wa down the block". Several days the coffee was not available until significantly after 8. The same thing with the food "breakfast is served at 9 and if you want something at another time we can reccommend...". Well the one day we decided to try the breakfast it was served 20 min late and with such pomp that my husband said "I felt like I was in boarding school not on vacation". Breakfas WAS delicious, but it was served over the course of an hour. We felt it was a waste of time. At the end of the stay I felt like I had been supportingg the in keepers victorian house habit and it wasn't overall a pleasant experience.

Absolutely Delightful
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/21/06
We had such a good and relaxing week! We felt at home there and the food was fabulous. Our room was nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. We especially appreciated the friendly atmosphere and the beautiful orchids! Nothing here is 'ordinary', and especially our hosts, who made every effort to see to our comfort. We will certainly return again and again!

A+ for this Bed & Breakfast !
By Sharon, 02/20/06
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Bayberry Inn. Our room was comfortable, cheerful and clean, the bathroom was spotless and the food was excellent. Andy and Toby went out of their way to guarantee the most authentic and relaxing retreat. We have our rooms reserved for next year's vacation. We would recommend this one to anybody interested in a true bed and breakfast experience.

Don't bother with this one
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/29/05
With Cape May in abudance of B&B's you're better off trying a different one. There was plenty of food although it was medicore. The rooms smelled musty and sheets were by no means soft. The bathroom could have been cleaner. The best thing going for this B&B is the close location to the beach and shopping mall ( but what B&B in Cape May doesn't offer that?).

Anniversary Escape
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/27/05
The Bayberry Inn provided us with a great escape from everyday stresses. A peaceful, welcoming atmosphere, delicious full breakfast, wonderful hospitality, and a pleasant two block walk to the beach. We walked to dinner and a play, then to an ice cream parlor for a late dessert. Our 25th anniversary was made special and we felt pampered! We know we'll return.

Wonderful stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/25/05
Friendly, helpful hosts; comfortable, clean rooms. The food was thoughtfully prepared, with our diatary restrictions considered. They serve a full three-course breakfast - delicious! The location was near everything. We have no complaints and look forward to returning!
