Bolero Resort and Conference Center, Wildwood

We went to wildwood for a family weekend and made reservations about a mouth ahead. we payed the deposit and waited for our nice weekend. When we arived about 9:30 on friday night the front desk was so rude we almost left right then. but went to our room, when I opened the door the room had a moist oder to it we turned on the a/c and started to settle in when my 7 yr old daughter found a used condom near her bed. we had had enough and went back to the front desk and we were told they had no other rooms. when i ask for my deposit back they laughed at me. deposit is non-refundable! so we set out on a friday night to find another hotel. worst hotel ever. the place should be shut down!

My friend & I stayed only for one night,but I would love to go back there again! The room was very clean.The pool was nice we went to the outside pool & had a great time.After we went to the boardwalk at night,we went back to Bolero to the Bar & lounge to listen to the band I knew, play there! We had a fun time.

I should have walked out as soon as we saw our room. A two room suite is one double bed and a single with no dressers a pull out couch and a miny fridge. Oh well we were only gonna sleep there anyway.Sleeping on their lice infested beds was the problem. When we woke up Sunday morning I realized both my daughters had head lice.My husband went to speak to the front desk about the problem and did not seem shocked. He just said Ok,took our keys and Tv remote and walked away.It was awful.

When it comes to conveniant access to the boardwalk and attractions The Bolero can't be topped. The resort is located close to the rides and offers a very nice view, if you manage to get an oceanview room otherwise you may be stuck looking at the roof of the ratshack motel attached to the rear of the resort. The indoor pool they offer is very nice if you can manage to find a time when it is not packed. (very small) I did not dare attempt the outside pool or hot-tubs due to the crowded condition. The price of this hotel would lead you to believe you were going to get at least a two-star room; this was not the case though. It seemed the room got a quick once-over cleaning and a few things were missed. The bed was ok as well as restroom facilities. The daytime staff at the front desk were very nice and personable, however the night staff was in need of an adjustment of manners. (very very very rude) Lastly the resorts bar and restaurant were great, good drinks great food and staff who were never out of reach.

After reading reviews of this hotel, I was very worried about what we were going to find, especially since we were staying in the motel portion. I don't know what other people were looking for, but this hotel was great for a shore hotel. The location was great and the rooms were clean. The front desk was polite. My kids loved the indoor pool. The restaurant was right there also which just added to the convienence. The only down side was there was no wireless internet connection. I would definately stay there again.

First of all the name is deceiving; resort and conference center? Sounds nice but this is just an average, low-cost hotel. The rooms and pink furniture showed alot of wear, as did the towels. My family and I stayed in a "two room suite" in the newer side of the hotel but as soon as we walked in we wished we had chosen a better place to stay. The location is great, the indoor pool and hot tubs were okay and the place has a large, well-equipped gym; oh and the price was right, so overall. . .it was alright.

Soon after arrival and check-in, the problems started. Everywhere from reserving of the wrong room to denying having paid the key rental fee. I have stayed here in the past but would think more than twice about booking again.

It was close to the boardwalk . The housekeeping was excellent! The price was right.We were close to the pool which was great for the kids. There were plenty of towels and pillows. It was a comfortable efficiancy that had a nice area for eating Breakfast in the room.I liked the place and would recommend it .

This was our first time to this hotel. The brochure made it look/sound like a hotel we would really enjoy with indoor/outdoor pool, healthclub etc... We didn't book the "suite" room because we had our children with us. We booked the "deluxe motel". The decor was very old and worn/stained. No coffee machine No remote for the TV and only ONE of the three lamps had working bulbs. No shampoo packets, very basic. We stayed fri/sat/sun. On day 2 we noticed the sheets were not cleaned and just a re-made bed so I called and was told "Oh we don't change sheets unless you stay at least 4 nights!" (new to me) The price was moderate but I expected much more. I do believe if you stay in the main hotel it's much nicer, but much more costly. I would never visit this hotel again. The plus side was it was close to the boardwalk and they had a microwave/fridge in the room. The pool inside was nice but the outside pool was being worked on.
