I have seen photos representing rooms at this place and in NO WAY was the room we were forced to stay in anything like the photos. Far from it, we were shown to our room in a cheap low rent house with low ceilings, crammed with two bunk beds sandwiching a bed in the middle. The room reeked of a sickeningly sweet chemical odor. There was NO WIFI, and the tv was on a shabby table turned sideways from the bed. You couldn't even see the screen from the bed without peering under one of the bunks. It was uncomfortable, unattractive, unacceptable and we felt like we were being forced to breathe carcinogenic chemicals in the air the hours we had to stay there. It was NOT relaxing, and in fact, we couldn't wait to get away. I would NEVER recommend that anyone stay at this place. Go to a motel in the area instead. You will be much more comfortable and better taken care of. Also, while we were there there was NO breakfast provided or even a cup of coffee in the morning. Some wonderful B&B, I'd say!
We thought that the rooms were very comfortable, as described by another review, no two rooms were the same. You feel comfortable, and relaxed when you are at the inn, and after a long day of hiking and sight seeing that is extremely refreshing. The care and service that is provided is superb. We called the Grist Mill Inn home for 4 nights of our vacation. Visiting several tourist areas from there was quite easy. Places like Canyonlands Needles and Natural Bridges are an easy drive. When we are in the area again, we will definately stay again.
Everything about the Grist Mill Inn was excellent. No two rooms are decorated the same and all are very nice. We stayed there 6 nights and will again when we are in the area. Rooms are very clean, food was good and Crystal was a terrific host. Can't beat the value.
