Twin Creek RV Resort, Gatlinburg

I had read several negative reviews of this RV site and dismissed them as just plain unhappy campers. WRONG! Believe them! The female owner is very rude and does not know how to diplomatically resolve an issue with a guest. Will not go into details but I did file a police report, filed charges with the Better Business Bureau, and will pursue any other avenue I have including the State Attorney General. We were so devastated that we almost sold our Coach! I have been keeping track of reviews of this park and there are far to many complaints and something needs to be done. Stand together and file charges. BBB, Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce, State Attorney General. It is the only way we will be able to get this park rated as it should be. Less than a 5. What they have done to people, if it isn't against the law, should be.

We had made a reservation to be there in 3 days, but the day after we made it my husband had a severe abscessed tooth on a saturday, had to go to an emergency clinic, they did a temporary fix and said to get home asap to dentist. Spoke to Mary one of the owners and she said that they run a business and they would not give back our 250.00 deposit, not even a portion. She said that people call that they have broken down and she still does not give a refund. She would give a rain check but she would charge a processing fee. NOT A GOOD WAY TO DO BUSINESS.

I made reservations and due to the unavailabity of gas in the Atlanta area we decided to cancel out trip for a later date. I call and canceled my reservations and was told that my credit card would be credited in 7 to 10 days. Well it has been 13 days. I called and was told that it would be credited that day. Never done. I am still waiting.

This is truly a first rate RV facility. The setting is special. Great shade trees, a small stream, lanscaped - paved sites. The facilites are as close to immaculate as you can get. The owners live on site and their attention to all the important and minor details is amazing. This includes the grounds, sites, amenities and shower-bathromm facilities. Great location. Close enough to Gatlinburg that you're downtown in just few minutes. You can walk to the supermarket. Far enough away that you can escape the bustle of downtown G-Burg. We've been here three times this year and are already looking forward to being back next spring.
