Lake and River Inn, Heber Springs

I stayed on Memorial Weekend, and it was nasty, and the freaking pool wasn't open. So my friend was staying at the Budget Inn, and he said they not only had a working swimming, but it was nice and clean.

This is an older hotel, but the management has done a great job with remodeling and keeping it clean. My wife, myself and our 3 month old son were visiting my grandmother and needed a place to stay on a budget. The cost was affordable and the location is close enough to the lake that if you are spending time at Greers Ferry Lake, you won't be disappointed. There is one hotel closer to the lake, but you will pay about $50-$75 more. This is a nice family run hotel WITH a POOL and the beds are comfortable. I would recommend this to anyone needing to stay in Heber Springs. As for me and my family, we will stay here every time we visit my grandmother. Thanks for a great stay.

We were SO happy to find a nice motel which would allow our 3 large boxers to stay. The room was clean & has a fridge and microwave. There is a big mowed field behind the bldg where you can walk your dogs. We always carry poop bags! Just down the road is a small walking park callled Josh "something" with a mile walking trail through the woods. We would definitely come back!

I have stayed at two other places in Heber Springs over the last couple years. My first time here was in July of this year, and just recently again. I did not realize the first time I booked that they have a new building in back. The first building is a bit older, but very clean, stayed in a room with 2 beds. I then booked one of the suites in the new back building that has lots of room and a complete kitchen, it was great! I will deffinately stay here from now on when I visit Heber Springs. Quality Inn was twice the expense and not as nice as their back rooms, and deffinately not as clean. Everyone was very nice and very helpful with information. And did I mention clean?

Nice clean place to stay. close to the lake, staff was friendly, room had fridge and microwave, pool was clean.

This place smelled STRONGLY of old disinfectant! They told us that we had a room reserved and waiting and gave us room # and said that if we were late, it would be unlocked w/ keys on bed. Wrong!!! Wrong room # ( we arrived about 10:30pm as we had told them) and someone was in the indicated room. We had to wake a guy who was all pissy and he gave us another stinking room on a gravel lot at a HUGE price. This place has No service and is way too expensive! I posted this complaint last summer and it was promptly removed, so somebody has a in at Yahoo and doesn't want the negative published, only the glowing reviews. Well, it stuunk and the beds were cheap and hard and they charged a LOT! Never go to this place.

Lake and River Inn is a great place to stay and i love their pool. They are very clean and the beds are very comfortable. Their blankets dont feel like paper as most others do, they are comfortable and the beds have plenty of pillows.

I was planning on trying to book a room in this place but there is no helpful pics to let me decide. Like that it has details from other people who have stayed in your hotel, but what about people that like to see pictures who have never stayed with you before. The people are nice that is great, and the food is really good that great too, but I'm needing pictures to see how nice it really is because of a 3 yr. old that is going to be staying also.

we stayed in room 16 july 11, 2005 til july 17, 2005. the room was very clean, the owners,managers, and employees were all super nice, and offered to help in any way that i needed them to. thanks for a very peaceful week at the lake and river inn in heber springs, arkansas.

It had a pool. Pets are welcome and the rooms are the perfect size. All rooms have refrigerators. They all Have cable T.V. It was Great If you stay here You'll Love It.
