The family is rude
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/27/09
The Lindsy family are the most hatefull people in cleburne county..Even their own son has nothing to do with them!! I refuse to support this family and that resort. And the family owned and operated is false advertisement and im not related..Mean Hateful Family...

Beautiful Place to Relax
By T, 05/28/08
Being set right on the Red River, Lindsay's is a nice get-a-way for the family. We've stayed there several times. Our last trip was in August 2008 and we were a little disappointed with that cabin. It was not as neat as years before. We spent most of our time out on the lake at Heber and fishing on the Red and of course, swimming at the resort. There was a very helpful boy at the resort who taught us, who are used to catfish and crappie, to trout fish. You just can't beat the locals and their hospitality.

awful beds
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/22/07
The beds were awful. It was like sleeping on a bos spring with no mattress. The setting was very nice and peaceful. The kitchen could have been equipped better. The cabins need some good old fashion house cleaning and all of the door knobs need to be replaced as they are about to fall off ov every door. I enjoyed my family time, with our grandchildren, but truly felt it was overpriced for what I was expecting. A box spring sitting on plywood , with a " mattress" was not my idea of a restful sleep. The people were very friendly. I just really felt the cabins need a lot of TLC.
