Okay, but won't go back

Friendly staff, however hotel was older and reminiscent of the 70's. Hot tub closed early in the evening (around 7:00 pm) so if you arrived later you could not enjoy it after a long day of travel. Golf course was not available until about the 3rd day due to tournament and then men's play in the a.m. on that 3rd day. Hotel is in isolated location and seems to have a high number of well-dressed retirees. Food at the restaurant is tasty but expensive, at least in the evening.

The Red Apple Inn was the perfect place for my wife and I to get away. It has a beautiful view of the lake, the food is fabulous, the staff is very friendly, and the golf is great. This place is a hidden jewel. It's perfect for a romantic weekend.

We will absolutely return to Red Apple Inn!

The Red Apple Inn is an exceptional place to get-a-way from the mundane routine of everyday life. The staff at Red Apple Inn is incredible. They are accommodating and pleasant to their guests. The rooms are exquisite and stylish in the selection of décor. Dining is an experience that is service oriented with outstanding meals. The scenery is indescribable. Even though the Inn is secluded, which is an important characteristic, there is plenty to see and do which includes golf, tennis, spa, and not one but two beautiful pools. The golf course is gorgeous and well designed; you may even see a deer or two during your round of golf, as we did. We look forward to returning in the near future for more needed relaxation!
