Victorian Villa, Charlotte

I must say that I had my dream wedding at the Victorian Villa Inn. Todd and Liz could not have been more accomodating to my every request for my very special day. My husband and I felt like we were king and queen as the Villa staff took care of us. I was quite the "picky" bride, but that was not a problem for Todd and Liz. They truly seemed to understand how brides feel on this day. I thank them for their patience as I changed my mind so many times. All of the food looked so good that I could not help but change my mind. It was delicious! My cake was yummy too. I loved staying in the Inn with my family. The rooms were so romantic. My husband and I stayed in the Lincoln Suite on our special night and could not have been more impressed! My best gals and I spent the day of my wedding lounging around the pool and taking a boat cruise. I could not believe that I got to have my dream wedding that did not cost me a fortune. I didn't even have to buy that many flowers because the Villa already has so many. I have already told my best friend that is getting married in 2010 to definitely go to the Villa! She wants to get married in the new gazebo down by the lake. Thanks again to Todd and Liz and their wonderful staff. You all made the wedding that I have been dreaming of my whole life come true...truly! Hats off to you!

My daughter had the most elegant wedding at the Victorian Villa. This was my last daughter to get married and the best priced wedding yet, especially for such an elegant wedding. My daughter chose the gazebo down on the lake front for her ceremony and the covered, marble top area for her reception. Man was the food good! Todd and Liz made sure everything went according to plan. This was a special occassion that could not have been better...it was awesome!

I am sorry but, I read the BAD reviews and wonder why these people even bothered to use the Villa for their venue. If (which I doubt) the owners were rude, or the place was not suitable - I just wonder what these people are used to having. I understand that some people want to make a good showing for weddings, etc. but, deposits are normally non-refundable. This is not the problem of the owners - this is just so silly person changing their mind. Gosh, move on and do not put down those who are trying to give you the service you want .

Thank you so much to Todd and Liz for making my wedding so special. I must say that I felt so taken care of before, during, and after my wedding. As a bride, I knew what I wanted and how it must be done. Todd made sure that all of my wedding details were carried out as planned. I was very appreciative of the Villa staff for being so curtious to my guests. I rented the whole house for my guests and we loved the rooms! The day of my wedding my friends and I enjoyed relaxing around and about the house. Breakfast was delicious. I loved how well the Villa grounds were taken care of. I didn't need that many flowers because they already have so many. I even got to use their peace plants around the gazebo. All of the flower beds were full of color...that made everything so complete. Liz made sure I had what I needed as I got ready for the ceremony. Many thanks to her and to Todd. I know they must put so much in what they do at the Villa. I was so glad to find a beautiful place that did not cost me a fortune. I got to have an elegant wedding with a staff that treated me and my wedding party like royalty. The whole staff seemed to always be smiling. I could not have asked for a better host and hostess. Todd and Liz made sure the evening was carried out just as we had discussed. Since I plan to only do this once, I sure do thank Todd, Liz, and the curtious staff at the Victorian Villa. Well done indeed!

My friend just had her wedding here and the wedding was beautiful! The party was great! But, the service was awful! The owners were rude and mean. They yelled at everyone and even had their kid running around the whole time with little or no supervision. The owners wife yelled at everyone and bossed them around like she was the one paying for the wedding. The food sucked, too! The only highlight was the bar that we had to provide and getting to see my best friend look absolutely gorgeous on her special day. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
