Historic Michabelle Inn & Restaurant, Hammond

I will start off by saying service was excellent. Food was hot & delicious, could not ask for better. The rooms were clean and ready for my arrival. I spent five hours here for a local wedding. Then slept at the Inn. I had a blast. Next time I come to Louisiana I will definitely stay at Michabelle's. Thanks :)

My husband, two friends and myself recently attended a wedding and reception. The place is gorgeous and the decorations were beautiful. The ceremony was also very lovely, then came the reception. The couple had about 100 people in attendance. We served ourselves buffet style and began to eat. The food was horrible and thats putting it lightly. The meat entree's were so tough you could not cut it with a knife. All the food served was either under cooked (Chicken, Rice) or had no seasoning at all. I spoke with most of the people attending through the night, all with the same complaint. The staff at the reception also began to clear and clean up just under two hours into the reception that was suppose to last 4 hours. Most quest including myself felt rushed. By the end of the 3rd hour, the dinning area was completely reset for the next day and people left early because they felt that they could not sit back down. I would consider staying in there Inn for the weekend, but would not recommend having a reception here or have it catered by another place. Thank you

Went to a wedding at the Michabelle House and it was so beautiful! We also stayed in a secluded suite off from the main house and it was PERFECT. The food was very tasteful and the service was quick. Congrats Andy and Rebecca!

I am a frequent guest at Michabelles. I spend at least 3-5 nights in Hammond every month due to my business schedule. I genuinely look forward to my stay. I have stayed in every room but 1 in the main house and I loved them all. They are tastefully decorated with very comfortable beds and the ambience is incredible. I especially love their breakfast. An excellent cheese omelet with fresh fruit and pastries. I haved recommended them to friends and business acqaintences and they all agree "it's the best".

This place was wonderful. I am actually a local and had my wedding here...it is gorgeous. The suites are very elegant and quietly secluded from the main house. The food at the restaurant is outstanding. I will be back every year for my anniversary!
