4 reviews for Full Moon Inn, The, Fredericksburg
Something's missing....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/05/06
From reading the previous reviews I find it hard to believe they are about the same inn. Perhaps this is just a difficult time for the owner? Despite the postal address, as noted, the inn is fairly far out of Fredericksburg. If you want to spend time there, I'd recommend one of the ones closer to town or in town. Secondly, we also stayed in the Peach Room, and a very loud window AC unit, low angled ceiling, and only one small window made it seem either like a cellar or very claustrophobic. Some might find it snug. For the money, however, I'd stay at another B&B. The other rooms may be nice, and our fellow guests were friendly. For a wedding or family reunion, this may be just the place. For a weekend for two, though, it lacked that "something special".

Excellent Get Away
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/17/06
My wife and I went away for a few days to escape and relax, and to have a few days of romance together. We spent our days at the Wildflower Farm, the Enchanted Rock, LBJ Park and Downtown Fredericksburg. We spent our evenings sitting on the front porch in peace. No TV. No distraction. No annoyances, at all. The bed, too, was the most comfortable I've ever been in (out of (5+) B&B's. The only nick in an otherwise perfect rating is because the Inn is not done in classic Victorian, but that's just personal taste. We recommend The Full Moon Inn without hesitation. If you enjoy your spouse's company, and enjoy sitting in a small paradise sipping local wine and nibbling some fresh cheese, this is your place.

Ideal get away
By swaustingal, 03/27/06
Overall, a great stay. Location is about 7 miles out of town and very quiet. Room (the peach) was a good size and very clean..no TV though. Breakfast at 9 AM was pancakes, french toast and bacon. I would return and reccomend it to friends...

A great bed and breakfast and location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/04/05
The Full Moon Inn was just perfect for a weekend gataway. They offered a full country breakfast , the rooms were clean as a whistle, and the owners showed us where to go and help us make all our dinner reservations. The location was real convienant to the wineries, Trade days, wildseed farm and Fredericksburg Texas. We had a wonderfull time and will be back as regular guests.
