We checked in Sunday evening and found several things wrong with the house, which I called Loyalty Homes and reported. The refrigerator door would not stay closed, the toilet in the master bedroom was running through and couldn't be flushed, and the garbage disposal was clogged and the water wouldn't drain. Monday, they fixed the toilet and I got the garbage disposal unclogged, but they never fixed the refrigerator door. We had to prop a chair against it to keep it closed. They (Loyalty Homes) are very bad business people, being they could care less about you. Once they have your money, you're on your own. They offered to pay for the food that we bought for the house and pay us $25.00 for our "inconvience" if we could prove how much we payed for the groceries, which we didn't keep the receipts. Then they said they would credit us $75.00 total when we didn't have receipts. Loyalty Homes are a rip-off company and doing business with them is not recommended.
We had the best vacation ever staying with Loyalty! There were no keys to keep track of, the house was clean and our kids loved the Disney themed rooms! My wife needed an iron and they came and personally delivered a new iron to our house. They gave us a number for disounted Disney tickets, and when my daughter left her favorite stuffed toy there, they called to let us know that they had "Moo-Moo" and would be sending it to us right away. We loved our stay and would reccommend it to anyone!
From the moment I called to make the reservation to the last day of our vacation, I couldn't believe how smooth the process was for staying in a vacation home. The staff at Loyalty was incredibly helpful! The house was clean, well kept, and very roomie for my family. The house was tucked back in a nice neighborhood, but still close enough to all of the Kissimmee attractions. The girls at Loyalty also gave us top-secret directions to Disney by taking 429. This road beats all of the crazy traffic in the area. WE LOVED EVERYTHING! And WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!
This was the worst experience we've ever had with renting a home. When we arrived at the home it was a mess. There were crumbs and other particles stuck to the back of the couch cushions, the garbage was full, there were crumbs in the washing machine, the air-conditioning vents were filthy and full of dust, and there was a fake, plastic spider left in the refrigerator.
The worst part, though, was that the air-conditioner was broken. When we called Loyalty Homes about this, they sent a maintenance man over who said that the air-conditioner was too old and too small to adequately cool off the home. When we called Loyalty for an explanation, we were repeatedly told we were lying and that they refused to believe us. They couldn't be inconvenienced enough to actually come down to the home to see for themselves. We were hung up on more than once and called liars.
Luckily we had friends in the area with whom we were able to stay and we moved out that night. When we tried calling Loyalty Homes the next day they either didn't answer or the owner told us that she was home and not at her office, which was funny considering we later found out that her office is in her home. We were finally able to meet with them a few days later, and were repeatedly ignored and insulted. We're from New York City, and when we asked the owner where she was from she just rolled her eyes and said "Not New York!" Obviously. Businesses in New York are professional and care about their customers! Loyalty Homes could learn a lot from New York. The owner also told my mother that she didn't have a brain and refused to give us a refund. It was highly, highly unprofessional, insulting and disgusting.
Loyalty only later decided to give us half of our money back after we mentioned getting the local courts and media involved. Regardless of the fact that we weren't given what we paid for, and were no longer even staying in the home, they refused to refund us all of our money. Everyone at Loyalty Homes was rude, unprofessional and childish and you surely will not find a fun, carefree and relaxing vacation with them!
