Cabbage Key Inn, Bokeelia

Cabbage Key Inn is one of the most unique and relaxing vacation spots in Florida. Located about 20 miles northwest of Fort Myers, the island is only accessible by boat (make reservations for a launch or water taxi). There are no cars or even paved roads on the island and no televisions, radios or telephones in the rooms. A resort brochure says, "We invite you to stay with us with faith that you will appreciate the simple, basic values we hold so dear." Activities include nature trails, reading, conversation and canoeing. Six rooms and seven cottages are available.
