Five Flags Inn, Pensacola Beach

if the new place is a best western ,i guarantee the rates will be sky high just like all the other chain hotels in the area! i never had a chance to stay at the five flags inn. i will stay at the new one if the rates are reasonable.

I stayed at your hotel 2 different times about a yr apart. It was so great!! Your going to rebuild!??!!! Same owners???? I will keep you in my prayers! I'd love to vist you again. Your rooms were clean and just perfect. We opened our door to hear the ocean, cooked on our grill on your patio, enjoyed your pool, the no carpeted floor was great and thanks for the broom being there.We enjoyed the shops and restraunts in the area. Last but not least, you were awesome hosts!!! It was so perfect and I'm very excited to vist again.We haven't been back to the coast since your sad news happened.

The last of the original Pensacola Beach Motels was wiped off the sand by Ivan is being rebuilt and will be open for the 2010 season. The only place I will stay, haven't been to the beach since Ivan, won't go back until the new hotel is built.

I stayed at FFI for years. It was great! I wouldn't stay anywhere else. However, it was bulldozed after Hurricane Ivan damaged the building structurally. I don't know why it is still showing up on the list. The property was for sale the last time I heard.
