Rhino Hotel Kyoto, Kyoto

I found the Rhino Hotel in Kyoto to be a pleasant surprise. I found no reviews prior to booking my room and I was anxious to see what I had booked. The hotel is clean with a comfortable sized room, double bed, small sofa, table, desk, hair dryer AND a refrigerator. The staff was ultra friendly and polite. The hotel is on the bus route #205 and next to a subway stop. Although there is plenty of food, restaurants, grocery stores, you will need to hop on a bus to see the sights. The hotel is located in Western Kyoto where there are some sights, but most sights seems to be in Central and Gion. But then again, you need to hop on a bus to see almost anything in Kyoto. I would definitely stay in the hotel again.
