For seven years, this distant light has been shining away from the smog, the chaos and the stress. Look around, you have the sea in front and Carso behind. Look for a skyscraper; you will not find one. There are low flying seagulls, people taking a stroll, moored boats, sports grounds and in the distance a few villas that you will look at with envy. Welcome to the Fisherman's village, a small town within the confines of the province, around half an hour from the city by car. You will not come here if you are in Trieste for business, as this place is exclusively for those who want to forget everyone and everything, and immerse themselves in an incorruptible oasis of peace and tranquility. The guest house is very small and does not provide any special services. They limit themselves to putting a clean and comfortable room at your disposal (with telephone) and a comfortable bed to sleep on. There is however a popular tasty, restaurant which has made an art of its fish dishes. If you arrive by motorway, leave at the Duino exit.
