Very nice room for the money
My two teenagers and I stayed for one night while visiting friends in Barrie. We were quite impressed with the size of the room and the quality of the furnishings. The TV was a bit small, and a guide to the channels (either on screen or on paper) would have been nice.
The bathroom was luxurious and had plenty of towels. I was a bit surprised to see only a shower, but none of use a tub, so it wasn't an issue for us. The kids thought the separate light over the shower was neat.
We tried the recreation centre, with its pool table, Internet stations, and snack machines. It was all fine. We looked at the pool, which seemed a bit small to me, but didn't have time to use it.
I was surprised that there did not appear to be a restaurant on site; it's a long drive to anywhere with food. The room did have a kitchenette though, which was well-stocked with dishes and utensils.
The room cost us quite a bit less than a smaller, shabbier room in another hotel in Bracebridge, so I can't complain.
