Hotel Palacio, Santo Domingo

Nestled in the midst of the Colonial Zone, the Hotel Palacio posses a unique bit of history. Its building was once the residence of a XIX century Dominican president, Buenaventura Baez. Nowadays, it has been completely rebuilt and redecorated to reflect a luxurious lifestyle. Rooms and suites have been garnished using a Spanish motif and include standard amenities (mini bar, kitchenette, phone, safety box, cable TV and A/C). Other interesting features are at the rooftop, these include a solarium, a jacuzzi and a small gym.
