Hotel Flamingos, Peninsula de Las Playas

Me and my husband were on our honeymoon and had reserached for weeks and found this hotel in "Mexico for Dummies. The author must be smoking crack because this place was not at all what the author was saying. The hotel is old, BEAUTIUFL LOCATION THOUGH. The hotel is on a cliff and you are over looking the entire ocean. When we got to our room, the shower curtains were rotted, there was mold on the bathroom sinks and floors, and worst of all, you open the drawers and there were GECKO DROPPINGS EVERYWHERE. Thousands of them!! It looked like the room had not been cleaned in years. When I was ready to check out after 10 minutes of being there, when I complained to the owner, he offered us a much better room, clean with no mold and no droppings, but he didn't really seem surprised when I stressed to him now disgusting the room was. The cool celebrity photos in the lobby make the hotel look desirable, but when you get inside the complex, it's a whole differnt experience. Save your money and don't stay here!!!!!!
