Bring your mouse trap
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/25/07
If you are planning to stay at the Piney Creek Inn located in Story,WY, I recommend that you bring a mouse trap. We caught two mice during our stay while attending a wedding at the Piney Creek Inn. Ironically, no pets are allowed. When we expressed our concerns about the sub-standard plumbing system in our cabin, the owner directed us to the "do-it-yourself" plunger and offered to share her 5 gallon bucket with us if we wanted to "flush the system". I also recommend getting a quote in writing when making your reservation. Our cabin rate was increased by $50 per night at check-out time. When asked to divide the room bill in thirds, so that each party could pay a portion of the unexpected expense, she added another $8 to the bill. She then asked if she could have the left over food from the wedding reception. Apparently, she didn't find enough when she was digging through our trash in front of our guests during the wedding reception. Beautiful scenery, but bad experience.
