DONT STAY HERE!! READ PREVIOUS REVIEW

arriving at the hotel my fiancee and i thought the luxurious renaissance would pamper us...hardly.
the first night we went to eat and the buffet must have been there for hours, ice was melting and some of the food had hardened,,,a sign that the food was not refreshed for customers.
i had the smoked salmon which i was trying to convince my self was ok but my fiancee was admant that it had gone off...indeed i felt the reprocussions a few days after.
my fiancee thinking that maybe the hot food option would be safe, she ordered prawns with noodles. It looked so good when it arrived the noddles were ok but the prawns were not cleaned. The digestive track had not been removed and asked for it to be remedied. Well we thought they would just cook another portion but when it arrived back....well it was the same plate-only someone made a bad non caring attempt to try and clean the prawns....no she didnt eat it.
all along this time we had noticed a very irate aussie in the lounge for about an hour he was ranting at the staff, my lady and i thought how rude!! Eventually his order came!..it was a can of pepsi, the man had waited for almost an hour for his drink...all this from the renaissance!!
the following morning we drove back to kl, and i needed a massage from all the driving i had been doing, also my guts were playing up. So i made a reservation with the hotel for a deep tissue massage, asked wether i wanted it my room i declined and went down stairs to the sauna. Upon arrival i was told because ot was early in the morning (9.30am), there was no staff-but id been told it was all arranged-so i was told if i could wait a while so ok i thought no problem, luckily a member of staff was coming in to do the massage and true about 20mins later a woman arrived.
she came in looking like she had been up all night still in her sequen blouse and high heels. She didnt get changed into what you would think was more appropriate, but proceded to ask me to get on the massage table.
now i have my own chiropractor that i see in the uk, so i know what a deep tissue massage entails. This person whom the rennaisance had hired was a novice..eventually after about 10mins she asked if i wanted more than the usual massage.
with that i walked out!
needless to say i wrote to the renaissance in their customer feedback sheet...never heard a word-no reply nothing!!
so now when ever i see the name renaissance, i get angry and will always put in a review like this..
