Great People and Hotel

Visting Capri while traveling abroad in Rome, we walked all the way to the hotel from the port...probably about an hour walk and uphill. When we got there, they immediatetly attended to us, getting us a cold drink and helping us into our rooms.
They were clean adn the showers were warm. We had a quad room, made up of two twins and a double bed. The towels and pillows were a bit stiff, but definetly didn't ruin the weekend or anything. If you go in late September or in the fall, it does get chilly, but they had blankets in the room. I didn't expect them to clean the room at all while we were staying, from past experiences with cheap hostels and hotels, but I was pleasantly surpised when we came home the first night.
They helped us alot by telling us how to navigate the towns while avoided large crowds of tourists. They showed us where to go at the best times, recommended great restaurants and made the whole trip over all relaxing, fun and memorable. The breakfast in the morning was cheery and served promptly. They even remembered what all 9 of us asked for when we went the next day. The hotel is a great place for people that don't want to be in the crowd of tourists, don't mind walking a little bit farther and enjoy staying in a cheap but beautiful hotel.
