Comfort Inn San Salvador, San Salvador

The hotel is clean and most important in San Salvador, it is safe and secure. I stayed their for 10 days; It doesn't have a swimming pool, for me that was not a problem. It has a gym and a small public room with internet connection, in case you forget your laptop. The breakfast was good. The rooms are clean. The best thing of that hotel was the service of the hotel employers. Especially I treasure the advice of the hotel taxi chauffeur Antonio. On my way back, I wanted to take a bus to the airport (US$ 0,60), comparing to take a taxi (US$30,-). He advice me not to do that, because it is too dangerous. I eventually took his advice and went with his taxi to the airport. Along the road he told me some incidents that happens with tourist and locals in the bus. At the airport I ask a police officer, and the police officer told me that that was the best thing I did, to follow his advice. For a tourist taking the bus at the busstation centre, caring a suitecase was like asking someone to rob you. Taking a bus to the shopping malls is not a problem. I did that. The bus stops in front of the hotel. But taking the bus to the airport can be very tricky, So be aware. I will recommend this hotel to anyone.

We had a board meeting in this hotel and loved it. Clean and comfortable with a very freindly, English speaking staff the whole group felt well cared for. The breakfast buffett was excellent with lots of fruits, cereals and even a chef to prepare omlettes. One night one of our rooms had a toilet issue and the maintenance staff was right there to fix it. Our whole experience for all of us was excellent. Again, the staff was really great.
