Excellent experience if you know the ground rules!
I just came back from a short trip at Sharm. We actually stayed at the Hilton Dreams, which was across the street from the Fayrouz. My Hilton was 5 not 4 stars rating. We had an "All Inclusive" deal. The food was ok. The hotel was nice. The staff were very nice on the 1st day! Now, to cut a long story short; the tempreture was around 35-40c or 90-110f during the days of our visit, the staff put in 12-16 hour shifts, & 90% of the hotel guests were on the "All Inclusive" deals, who never tipped the staff! The key word here is TIP! In order for you to have the best service with a big wide smile, you have to tip the staff where ever you are at the hotel. I only gathered so after chatting with some of the pool staff. I noticed they were ignoring everyone asking for their free drinks, & when they served people, they weren't happy about it. I tipped 10-20 E.P every time we had a lunch or we spent the day at the pool, & we practically had a goodbye deligation when we left.
I highly recommend the "All Inclusive" deal as it is excellent value for money, I also recommend the Hilton Dreams. The resturants along the beach have nice food. We had seafood dinner at the Ghazala resturant, 1/2k.g shrimps, seafood mixed platter, 1 bottel of wine for less than 100$.
Tip Tip Tip the Egyptians!
