Worst LV stay ever

Stayed 12/30/08-01/02/09 - King bed in new tower
Check-in fine, no line, crowd, but bags would take an hour to deliver to room? Long walk to room from parking, especially with 3 days stay bags.
Room was large, but only half furnished. No coffee table, no table and chairs by window (although pictured on their website). Only a single sink in large bathroom. 42" TV mounted crooked. Tattered bed linens. Nice closet with safe. Single cup coffee maker, and another long walk to get coffee if one cup doesn't cut it (no tables/chairs to sit and drink it in our room)
Uncomfortably hot everywhere except the room entire duration of stay. Patrons and employees alike all were complaining.
Nice big bingo parlor, easy to read number boards.
Large casino with good game selection, not crowded, but what ashtrays were there were overfflowing. Not many empty glasses sitting around, but thats because having a drink served was rare. In about 25 hours of gaming, I was offered a total of 5 drinks. Hot, no drink service, and dirty gaming areas (I sat at a machine for about 3 hrs and the ashtray was never emptied, an empty drink glass and paper wrapping from a prior player never picked up, nor any server ever came around).
Had 1 meal there (actually a few bites). Don Vitos opens at 5. We went at 8:30. Not busy, but were told they ran out of lasagne!!!! New Years holiday period, opened 3 1/2 hrs earlier, no crowd, and ran out of lasagne. Unreal. Substitute dish's pasta chewed like beef jerky, and both sauce and italian sausage had acidic taste. Service was horrible and phony. Waiter asked if all was good. When told 'no' he patted me on the back and said 'atta-boy' and continued walking. Never even payed attention to answer. The salad upgrade to Caesar (recommended on the menu for $1) gets you the samesalas as the regular one. No extras, just lettuce. All this was brought to the restaurant's management. Their solution, come back for a free meal. I got terribbly sick that evening from this meal and couldn't even leave the room til 2pm the next day. Needless to say, no other Southpoint eateries were visited.
We drove, so being out in the middle of nowhere with little of anything within walking distance, didn't matter to us. But if you have no wheels, your stuck (the shuttle to the strip had been discontinued, to the dismay of many who booked here and were never told it had ceased operation.)
If your idea of a fun time is lugging your own luggage to a partially furnished room, an uncomfortable temperature maintained on the property, an unkempt casino with the worst drink service in town, food that lays you up for half a day, uncaring staff and a location that offers you no easy escape to what LV really has to offer, stay here.
If not, go anywhere else.
