Buyer beware!

This was our second stay at this hotel. We stayed back in August for the night before a cruise, THEN, it was nice, things worked, clean and staff was friendly, THIS time we stayed for 3 nights and what a difference a couple of months make. Staff barely spoke English, room was ok, but was not restocked after cleaning. Had to ask for cups and tissue, towels were hung as clean, but were dirty. A/C didn't work properly, pool area didn't have towels, had to ask for them but the smell of chlorine was so bad couldn't stay long. At 8pm they had removed the knob to turn on the hot tub saying pool closed at 8pm, really?? Breakfast area was dirty, milk was warm, waffle maker was crusted over with leftovers, some fresh fruit, no microwave in area to heat up muffins. Trash was overflowing and just in general dirty and didn't really care that it was. We will not be staying at this hotel again. Why don't Americans run hotels anymore???
