Homewood Suites is a great place to stay if you don't mind being a little further away from all of the major attractions. Actually, this is why we picked it. It's about a 20 minute drive to Sea World and Zoo. The suite we had was perfect for our family. Our toddler slept on the pullout, so my husband and I were able to stay up and watch movies while she slept. The two rooms are separated by a door, so my daughter's room was nice and quiet. The king size bed with light down comforter and down pillows was very comfortable. The full size was kitchen was nice although we only used the refrigerator. The staff was very friendly, and responsive to our needs. A clogged toilet and slow draining shower were quickly fixed. The complimentary breakfast was good although a bit boring. We only ate there twice because the selection didn't change from day to day. It would have been nice to have a little variety. We took advantage of one of the complimentary light dinners because we were too tired to go out. And hot dogs and burgers were perfect for our toddler! Parking was very convenient, and no fees. All in all, I would definitely recommend Homewood Suites San Diego!

Cozy rooms, great service across the board. Located minutes away from interstate. Close to La Jolla shops and restruants. 5 minutes from Torrey Pines Golf Course!!

This is the place for a family vacation to San Diego, the full suites are quite large, with the bedroom alone bigger than many rooms, the staff was helpful, the pool heated and the hot tub lovely, with constant supply of pool towels. The breakfast was very nice, with a make your own waffle station that the kids love. But also eggs, bacon, bagels, fruit, etc. The welcome home meal was very nice, not elaborate but filling, with beer and wine. Some said it was hard to find but don't know what they were thinking, it was easy to get to and in the middle of a lot, Legoland, wild amimal park, zoo, etc. The only slight annoyance was some noise above us but it didn't last long, probably kids jumping around. I will definately check out Homewood Suites again on our next vacation and can highly recommend this one, especially for families.
